Dear visitors, we are happy to welcome you to our web site and present you with this unique holiday facility located in the village of Marušići, on Omiš Riviera. Our house is located in the most beautiful cove on the entire Omiš riviera, called "Borak", with several pebble beaches under the shades of pine trees, and with freshwater spring. It was built in 1911. as a wine cellar for keeping the red wine which was the main agricultural product of this area in that time. Over the time, the wine production has almost disappeared, and the house was little by little adapted to serve as a holiday house. The first phase of the renovation was made in the year 2012 and we were very proud to present you with our offer of accommodation in a holiday apartment on the first floor of the house. In year 2014. we renovated the roof, the attic and the facade of the house in traditional style and in year 2024 we have fully completed the apartment in the attic which we now rent together with the apartment on the 1st floor as one duplex apartment for 8 persons.

The house is an old traditional Dalmatian house, with thick stone walls, just several meters from the sea, surrounded by beautiful beaches and lush vegetation. Even though it is fully furnished with all modern equipment to meet the high standard of today's holiday makers, we managed to preserve it's unique appeal as an ideal romantic/traditional getaway off the beaten track and the stress of modern life and modern tourist industry.

The house is the only house in the cove, and the car access to the house is not possible, private parking is located about 200 meters from the house. There is a barbecue in the courtyard, and if you wish we will gladly prepare a meal for you, and you are free to taste organic fruit and vegetables from our garden, anytime you please. We are also very happy to take you on a speed boat trip and show you surrounding coast and nearby islands, also we can pick you up on the airport and get you back. When you are our guest, we will do everything possible to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay to the maximum. Of course, if you require total peace and privacy we will not bother you, but we are always at your disposal, for anything you need.

This area is famous for some of the best pebble beaches in Croatia, with shallow entrance which makes them ideal for children. Crystal clear sea, numerous beaches and unspoiled nature are the main reason visitors from all around the globe come to visit us year after year. 

 

Accommodation

Apartment for 8 persons

We offer accommodation in 80 m2 duplex apartment located on two floors (1st floor and attic). The apartment is fully equipped with standard equipment, plus laundry machine, coffee machine, fast internet and air-conditioning. The apartment has small balcony, large garden, large terrace, private pool and large sunbathing terrace. We also offer you delivery service for groceries, and we will gladly help you with your baggage, all included in the price. On the terrace there is a big grill, and we will provide with anything you need to make this holiday an unforgettable experience for you.

Marušići is a small tourist village with beautiful beaches and nature. The village of Marušići is located in the heart of Dalmatia, at the eastern part of Omiš Riviera, few kilometers from the very popular tourist destinations of Makarska riviera, mainly Brela and Baška Voda, and 13 kilometers to the west ancient town of Omiš is located. Nearest airport is Split international airport, 55 kilometers to the west, and nearest ferry ports are Makarska (20 km) and Split (38 km). There are several pebble beaches with shallow entrance, ideal for families with small children. The area is not too crowded with tourists, and it is still possible to find your own private part of the coast, where you can enjoy crystal clear sea, warm sun and natural peace and tranquility. In the past, Marušići was primarily oriented towards agriculture, mainly grape vine, and today it is mainly oriented toward tourism in private accommodation. There is not much tourist offer in the village, other than small cafe bar/buffet and a grocery store, but in nearby villages of Mimice and Pisak, once can find several restaurants and cafe bars. Parking place is 200 meters from the house, and this is the closest  one can get by car. Having this in mind, we offer our guests help with their luggage on their arrival/departure, we also offer delivery of groceries. You can also get to Pisak by a 15 minutes walk.
